Swatch MTV Playground

Swatch MTV Playground arrived at BIOS on Friday night. Over 400 people joined the party on the opening night, visiting the exhibition and getting interactive with their art experience.

Light graffiti proved a popular attention piece along with DIY Artwork, but the highlight was a live performance from Greek beat boxing duo ‘Word of Mouth’ who performed a 25 minute set in front of a buzzing crowd.

But it didn’t end there. Saturday saw a 90-minute international art battle, UK vs. Greece hosted by MTV Greece VJ’s Alex and Nikki. Greek artists Yellowish and Hystericact came out on top walking off with €1000 and leaving the UK’s Disco Teck and Mr Gauky empty-handed.

Once again, everyone loved artwork-to-go with plenty of people taking a piece of Playground with them, and DJ’s Blend and Element kept the party going until the early hours every night.
